HVAC Service Manager
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager who leads with integrity, communicates with professionalism, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can motivate teams, solve problems efficiently, and ensure every customer interaction reflects our commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of 15+ Service Technicians, 1 Dispatcher, and 4 Service Administrators
Monitor technician performance and provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback
Conduct monthly Lead Technician and Service Team meetings
Perform ride-alongs and job site visits to ensure quality and efficiency
Prepare and deliver annual performance reviews
Handle customer escalations with professionalism and urgency
Maintain a safe working environment, enforce PPE usage, and ensure timely accident reporting
Collaborate with the dispatcher to optimize scheduling and maximize efficiency
Lead by example with a consistently professional and positive demeanor
Ensure all service tools and vehicles are properly maintained
Recommend tools, equipment, or process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Provide hands-on support during peak demand, including assisting with service calls as needed
Serve as a 24/7 technical resource for the team
The Service Manager reports to the Operations Manager
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3+ years of management experience required
7+ years of HVAC technical experience required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
MA/CT/RI Oil Burner, Pipefitter, or Plumbing License (or equivalent) required
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and maximize team performance
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Punctual, flexible, motivated, and detail-oriented
Computer savvy
What we offer:
